This Privacy Policy explains how PIKUP ("Pikup," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://pikup-ai.com (the "Site"), book a demo, call our demo line, or receive text messages from us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Demo form details: your industry, business name, name, phone number, and email address.
• Partially completed forms: to follow up with people who start but don't finish booking, we save the details you've entered once you reach the phone number step, even if you never submit the rest of the form.
• SMS consent records: whether you opted in to texts, the exact consent wording shown, and when you agreed.
• Scheduling details: when you book through our scheduling tool, the time you choose and any answers you provide.
• Messages you send us by email or text.

Call and usage data

• If you call our AI demo line, the call may be recorded and transcribed, and we receive details such as your phone number, the time and length of the call, and what was said. We use this to run and improve the demo.
• If your business uses Pikup, we record and transcribe calls to your business line to provide the service (see Calls handled for our clients).

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and the page that referred you.
• Advertising and campaign details in the link you followed (such as UTM parameters and Facebook click IDs).

Cookies, local storage, and pixels

We use your browser's session storage to remember your progress in the demo form and which ad or link brought you to the Site. If enabled, we use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, which use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and ad performance. Our scheduling provider may also set cookies when its calendar loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work.

How we use information

• To schedule and hold your demo, and to contact you about it.
• To follow up with you if you start but don't finish booking.
• To provide, maintain, and improve Pikup and the Site.
• To send text messages you've opted in to (see SMS / text messaging).
• To measure and improve our advertising.
• To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to keep the Site secure.
• To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.

Calls handled for our clients

Pikup's AI receptionist records and transcribes calls to our clients' business lines in order to provide the service: answering calls, booking appointments, transferring urgent calls, and sending call summaries. This call data includes recordings, transcripts, caller names and phone numbers, and appointment details.

• We process this data on our clients' behalf and according to their instructions, as their service provider.
• We use it only to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service for that client.
• We do not sell call recordings, transcripts, or caller information, and we do not use them to market to callers.
• Our clients are responsible for giving callers any notice or getting any consent the law requires for call recording. If you called a business that uses Pikup and have a question about your information, contact that business. We'll help them respond.

Service providers we share information with

We share information only with providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

• Calendly: demo scheduling.
• Google: storing lead records (Google Sheets), email, video meetings (Google Meet), and, if enabled, analytics (Google Analytics).
• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, and performance.
• Meta: if enabled, advertising measurement (Meta Pixel).
• Telephony, SMS, and AI voice providers that power our demo line, the Pikup service, and text messages.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep demo and lead information for as long as needed to follow up with you and run our business, typically up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer. SMS consent records are kept for as long as needed to show compliance with messaging rules.

Your rights and choices

• Access, correction, and deletion: you can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you gave us, or include your phone number, and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.
• Text messages: reply STOP at any time.
• Cookies and ads: use your browser settings, or the ad preference tools from Google and Meta.
• Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional privacy rights. We will honor them as required by law and won't treat you differently for using them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site and Pikup are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the effective date above.
